The NAIOP SFBA Young Professionals Group (YPG) is a highly selective, 12-month program designed to cultivate the next generation of commercial real estate leaders. Through intensive leadership training, a comprehensive industry education, and valuable networking opportunities, YPG provides an unparalleled foundation for career growth.

Only 35 candidates are selected annually based on professional achievements, leadership potential, and a demonstrated commitment to growth.

How to Apply

To complete your application, you will need:

✔️ Online Application Form – Submit all required fields before the deadline.

✔️ Employer Endorsement – A signed letter from your employer confirming support for your participation.

✔️ Two Letters of Recommendation – One must be from a NAIOP SFBA member (preferred). These must be submitted directly by the recommender.

Graduating from the YPG Program is just the beginning.

After completing the one-year Young Professionals Group (YPG) program, members become part of NAIOP SFBA's vibrant and growing YPG alumni community.

Graduates may also choose to take a leadership role in helping to plan, coordinate and manage the YPG program by joining the YPG Alumni Committee. The Committee is also responsible for coordinating networking and educational events and activities to keep alumni engaged. All members of the Alumni Committee must also be current members of NAIOP.
